Back in 2019, I was tired of seeing people stuck in the same old gym routines - you know, the endless treadmill sessions and isolated muscle pumps that didn't translate to real-world strength.
I'd spent years training in various disciplines - from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to parkour, rock climbing to wilderness survival courses. What struck me was how disconnected modern fitness had become from how our bodies actually evolved to move. We're not built to sit in machines. We're designed to crawl, jump, climb, fight, and adapt.
So I opened Feralith Enclave in a rough industrial space on Powell Street. The name? "Feralith" combines "feral" with "monolith" - basically representing that untamed, primal strength we've all got buried inside us. Some folks thought I was crazy, turning down conventional gym equipment for open floor space and natural movement patterns.
But here's what happened - people started moving better. Not just getting stronger in one specific lift, but developing actual functional power. The kind that helps you prevent injuries, move with confidence, and feel connected to your body again.
We don't chase trends or promise quick fixes. Every program here is built around movement patterns that've kept humans alive for thousands of years. Ground-based mobility, natural locomotion, combative conditioning - this stuff works because it's literally encoded in our DNA.
Our crew isn't your typical gym crowd either. We've got software developers training alongside construction workers, yoga instructors learning combat drills with former athletes. Everyone leaves their ego at the door because when you're learning to move like you're meant to, there's no room for pretense.
Look, I'm not gonna tell you this is easy. Relearning how to move after years of sitting takes work. But it's honest work that pays off in ways a bicep curl never will. You'll build strength that matters - the kind that helps you play with your kids without throwing out your back, or confidently navigate any physical challenge life throws at you.
We keep classes small on purpose. I need to see how you're moving, correct patterns before they become problems, and push you when I know you've got more in the tank. This isn't a numbers game for us.
So yeah, that's Feralith. We're not for everyone, and that's fine. But if you're ready to reconnect with what your body can actually do, we'll be here.

Movement isn't something you do - it's who you are. These principles guide everything we teach at the Enclave.
Getting comfortable on the floor changes everything about how you move vertically
Built through movement, not isolation
Everyone moves differently - we teach patterns, not routines. Your journey's gonna look different from the person next to you, and that's exactly how it should be.
"The goal isn't to make you look like an athlete. It's to make you move like one."
Explore Our ClassesThese aren't just words on a wall - they're how we operate every single day.
No gimmicks, no false promises. Just real training that gets real results. We're not here to sell you supplements or transformation programs - we're here to teach you how to move.
Yeah, we compete and push each other hard, but there's zero tolerance for ego trips. Everyone who walks through our door is here to grow, and we've built something special around that mindset.
We're always learning, always refining. If there's a better way to teach something or a more effective progression, we'll adapt. Staying stuck in one methodology isn't how nature works.
